We are very sad to announce the temporary closure of Blue Mountains Explorer Bus. This is in response to the government's compulsory closure of non-essential services due to COVID-19. If you have already purchased passes, they remain valid for 12 months. We hope to be back showing you the best of the Blue Mountains soon. You can find us on Facebook or if you have any questions, you can contact us.

Gordon Falls Lookout

Must See, Waterfalls

Experience all our Blue Mountains can offer!

The short walk down to Gordon Falls Lookout earns you a unique view that takes in the back of the Three Sisters, the 200-metre drop of Gordon Falls, a small slice of distant Lake Burragorang, and the long craggy finger of Sublime Point. Best of all, you can often have this secluded spot all to yourself.

Experience all our Blue Mountains can offer!

Gordon Falls Lookout is one stop we always recommend to birdwatchers. You can often see eagles here, soaring on the air currents that swirl up from the valley.  This is also a great place for bushwalking – you can walk back along the cliffs to Olympian Rock or Leura Cascades, or down into the secret little grotto of the Pool of Siloam.

If you just need a place to rest for a while, the grassy park and playground (right next to your Explorer Bus pickup point) makes Gordon Falls Lookout an ideal place for a family picnic.
