Prince Henry Cliff Walk

Honeymoon Lookout to Echo Point

If you only do one walk in the Blue Mountains, this should be the one! It’s short and easy enough that almost anyone can do it, and takes you through stunning eucalyptus forest past a series of unforgettable views. Best of all, you approach the Three Sisters like a true Explorer – through the peace of the bush.

This excellent walk takes just a little longer than walking to the Three Sisters from Echo Point. But unlike that busy track, the Honeymoon Lookout track gives you a real sense of peace and tranquillity – you can often find yourself all alone with native birds including Cockatoos, Kookaburras and dazzling red-blue Crimson Rosellas.

Hop off the Explorer Bus at Honeymoon Lookout, and after a short scamper down some steps you’ll reach the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Turn right on the track to head towards the Three Sisters. Along the way you can breathe in the view from a number of less-visited lookouts, and you’ll easily have time to stop at all of them in the 40 minutes we’ve allowed for the walk.

When you meet the track coming down from Echo Point, turn left and go down the first few steps of the Giant Stairway. Cross the ravine over cute little Honeymoon Bridge and you’ll be standing right on the first of the Three Sisters.

Climb back up the staircase and head for Echo Point for the classic Three Sisters view. It’s just a few more steps from here to the Explorer Bus stop.
