Buying a Ticket

You don’t need to book to travel on the Explorer Bus just buy a valid ticket for your day travel.

You can buy tickets in the Blue Mountains for the Explorer Bus from:

• The driver on the bus - just wave as the bus approaches your stop to alert the driver to stop for you.
• Blue Mountains Explorer Bus office – 283 Main Street, Katoomba (right at the top of the railway stairs)
• Explore the Blue Mountains – 1 Katoomba Street, Katoomba.
• Leura Visitors Gateway – top of the Mall, Leura.
• Selected Accommodation venues.

Buying tickets from Sydney

• You can buy a money saving combined Rail / Bus ticket from any CityRail station, called a Link ticket and this is available for 1 or 3 days.
• See Sydney and Beyond Cards are available for purchase in Sydney and once you have a See Sydney card this allows you access on the Explorer Bus.
• City Sightseeing buses, from any of their drivers. Save 10% if you have a City Sightseeing pass already.
